Living Room For a Big Family

The goal for this living room was to create a warm, welcoming space where the whole family could relax, spend time together, and feel comfortable without making the room feel too busy or overwhelming.

With three young children in the house, practicality was just as important as style. We chose an oversized blue sofa with easy-to-clean upholstery, offering plenty of seating for everyone while adding a beautiful pop of color.

To bring more personality into the space, we painted the existing built-ins a rich blue and added wallpaper to the back panels. These details create a lovely focal point while keeping the overall design balanced and cohesive.

The result is a cozy, family-friendly living room that's full of character, comfortable for everyday life, and beautiful enough to enjoy for years to come.
